Why choose us
Bathroom & kitchen specialists.
Every trade in-house.
We are a family-run bathroom and kitchen installation company based on the Hertfordshire–Essex border. Around 70% of our work is bathrooms and wet rooms, with kitchens making up most of the rest — so you are hiring genuine specialists, not general builders.
Every trade — plumbing, electrics, tiling, plastering, joinery — is managed in-house by our own team. That means one accountable point of contact, and a single standard of work from the first day to the last.

What clients say
"After being let down by a tradesman working on my bathroom I came across Darren on MyBuilder. His quote was very reasonable and he came the following week. He arrived every day on time, worked all day in a clean efficient manner. There were a few issues with the previous guy's work but nothing was too much trouble for Darren and his skill set seemed never ending! I would 100% recommend Darren and I certainly won't be using anyone else on future projects. The quality of your work is outstanding."

Essex · Bathroom Installation
"Darren is absolutely amazing! He completed two bathrooms for me which were not the easiest and I was under a very tight deadline ahead of the exchange of my house sale. Darren went above and beyond, working late and all weekend to ensure they were complete. He advised me constantly over the phone on other matters and was an incredible support during a very stressful time. The bathrooms look amazing. I'd definitely use Darren again and I encourage you all to as well!"
Gemma Terry
Bishop's Stortford · Bathroom Installation
"The process was as smooth as anyone could hope. No fuss, no prolonged waits. Herts and Essex Dream Home Builders have a clear vision, and they execute it with precision. The bathroom looks fantastic, almost as if it's out of a luxury homes magazine. I'm so pleased we've had them back to do further rooms in my house — no job is too big or small, and I've already referred Darren and his team to my friends in Brentwood and Ongar."
