What our clients say

"Dream home, dream builders! Darren and the team were absolutely incredible from start to end. If you're looking for trustworthy, friendly, hardworking builders that genuinely care about the end results, this is the team for you. Reasonable prices and honest, high quality work the whole way through. Will definitely work with them again on our next project. An easy 5 stars."

"After being let down by a tradesman working on my bathroom I came across Darren on MyBuilder. His quote was very reasonable and he came the following week. He arrived every day on time, worked all day in a clean efficient manner. There were a few issues with the previous guy's work but nothing was too much trouble for Darren and his skill set seemed never ending! I would 100% recommend Darren and I certainly won't be using anyone else on future projects. The quality of your work is outstanding."

"Darren is absolutely amazing! He completed two bathrooms for me which were not the easiest and I was under a very tight deadline ahead of the exchange of my house sale. Darren went above and beyond, working late and all weekend to ensure they were complete. He advised me constantly over the phone on other matters and was an incredible support during a very stressful time. The bathrooms look amazing. I'd definitely use Darren again and I encourage you all to as well!"

"The process was as smooth as anyone could hope. No fuss, no prolonged waits. Herts and Essex Dream Home Builders have a clear vision, and they execute it with precision. The bathroom looks fantastic, almost as if it's out of a luxury homes magazine. I'm so pleased we've had them back to do further rooms in my house — no job is too big or small, and I've already referred Darren and his team to my friends in Brentwood and Ongar."

"As a builder with over 20 years in the industry, I've collaborated with many subcontractors. Herts and Essex Dream Home Builders have consistently been my go-to team for high-end bathroom installations and wet rooms. Their professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail are exceptional. My clients have always been satisfied with the end product, often highlighting the luxury feel and craftsmanship of their new spaces. I'll undoubtedly continue partnering with them for future projects."

"I wanted someone local with a reputation, and a neighbour recommended Herts and Essex Dream Home Builders. The team really listened to what I wanted. There were a few hiccups (like with any project), but they were on it, making sure things were sorted quickly. Now, every time I walk into my bathroom, it feels special — like a little piece of luxury in my own home. If you're in Brentwood or nearby and thinking of sprucing up your bathroom, give these guys a shout. They did right by me."

"I have worked with Dream Home Builders on a number of projects. They always are professional, tidy and willing to go the extra mile. I especially like the fact that they keep me updated and are very approachable. I have no hesitation recommending them."

"I have used Darren from Herts and Essex a few times and he has always provided excellent service. We had a particularly tricky shower enclosure to replace that others said was not possible or cost effective — however he did it quickly and professionally."

"Darren and his team provide a thorough and professional service at a reasonable price. He has always ensured the job is finished to our satisfaction and we have been able to rely on his service over the years. Prices are reasonable given the quality of the work and their easy going approach to our requests — even last minute ones. It's great to be able to rely on good work."

"Darren will always be the first person I call when I have an issue or need expert advice on any plumbing matters. We recently moved into the area and Darren went out of his way to help my family when we had an unexpected leak coming through our ceiling. Fantastic value for money, impeccable service and utterly trustworthy. I highly recommend Darren and his team."

"Very reliable, clean workmen, very friendly and punctual. Kept me well informed and importantly made me aware of potential issues. I was consulted at every point, so I will continue to use this firm. Very good workmanship."

"Had work done by DHB as well as working with them on a number of jobs near Brentwood and Upminster. Can highly recommend them if you're looking for a new bespoke bathroom. Responsive, punctual, quality workmanship and great value."
